Rehab Resources is proud to serve as a contract provider for the Birth-3 Program in several counties throughout Wisconsin. Wisconsin’s Early Intervention Program is known as the Birth to 3 Program.
The Wisconsin Birth to 3 Program is committed to serving children under the age of 3 with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. We value the family’s primary relationship with their child and work in partnership with the family. We work to enhance the child’s development and support the family’s knowledge, skills and abilities as they interact with and raise their child.
Some counties have adopted the Primary Service Provider (PSP) model. Through this model, each child has a full team available to them including a early childhood special educator, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and service coordinator. One of these individuals serves as the primary coach to the child and family to support them in working toward the child’s goals. Weekly team meetings and joint visits with secondary providers occur to share information. Parents or caregivers are active participants in every session. Together with the primary coach, parents and caregiver problem solve strategies and activities that fit into the child’s daily routines. These are continually progressed and adapted to meet their needs.
