Kate Brewer, PT, MBA is the President and Owner of Greenfield Rehabilitation Agency and its pediatric division: Rehab Resources. Kate is a graduate of Marquette University with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and her Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. She earned her MBA from Cardinal Stritch University in 2002. Kate’s career began at Aurora Saint Luke’s Medical Center practicing in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, and wound care. She always had a desire to lead a team, and her opportunity came when she accepted a position as a manager for a therapy department in a skilled nursing facility. In this transition to caring for the aging adult, Kate saw an opportunity for her to excel and bring her passion for leadership to a complex field. She achieved clinical recognition by obtaining her GCS (Geriatric Clinical Specialist) certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
She joined Greenfield Rehabilitation in 2004 where her leadership bolstered the expansion of its services and geographical impact. Kate’s entrepreneurial spirit continues to help evolve Greenfield into the exceptional therapy provider it is today. Her passion for outstanding performance continues to drive consistent delivery of optimal therapy outcomes and strong partnerships all over Wisconsin.
Throughout her career, Kate has held numerous leadership roles at the district and state level for the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association (WPTA) as well as national leadership roles in the APTA Geriatric and APTA – Health Policy & Administration (HPA). She has spoken at numerous conferences and written multiple books and articles on documentation and compliance, communication strategies for rehab professionals, and business skills for the rehab professional.
Kate has been recognized recently as a Woman of Influence by the Milwaukee Business Journal in 2020 and is the recipient of the WPTA’s Private Practice of the Year award. She feels blessed to be able to create a company culture of creating an exceptional therapy experience to improve the lives of others.
Michelle Poole, OTR is an owner and Executive Vice President for Rehab Resources. She has been with our aging adult care division, Greenfield Rehab Agency, since 1991. Mrs. Poole is a Mount Mary College graduate with a Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy. Michelle leads the human resources team in Rehab Resources.
Ginger Brath, OTR, MBA is the Administrator for Rehab Resources. She is a UW – Milwaukee graduate with a Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy and got her MBA from Concordia University. Brath is responsible for the daily operations at Rehab Resources and directly supervises the Rehab Directors and therapy teams. Her vast knowledge of the rehabilitation field and her strong leadership skills ensure that all team members are fully supported in their roles. She supports our team members in providing evidence-based services to people of all ages for a variety of therapy needs, with a focus on partnering with others to provide excellent customer service and sound business decisions. Brath has extensive experience in supporting pediatric services for Birth to Three, Outpatient and School service, outpatient adult programming including pain management and workman's compensation, as well as In Home services for all ages.
Ginger has been appointed by Governor Tony Evers to the Birth to Three Interagency Coordinating Council as a Provider Representative. She is also a WOTA (Wisconsin Occupational Therapy Association) board liaison for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services for reimbursement. She has served on the NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy) committee since 1996 where she participates in education and licensing for Occupational Therapists.
